Overview
The Destroyit 3105 Strip Cut Shredder is a HIPAA/FACTA compliant shredder used in offices for medium shredding. It can shred 50-52 sheets at a speed of 40 fpm. It includes the "SPS" (Safety Protection System) package which includes an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening, an "Easy Switch" control element that uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status, an automatic reverse and power cut-off to prevent paper jams, an automatic power cut-off when the shred bag is full or when the cabinet door is opened, double protection against overheating, an "ESM" (Energy Saving Mode) after 1 hour of inactivity, and an "ECC" (Electronic Capacity Control) indicator that prevents paper jams by indicating the sheet capacity levels. The automatic start and stop feature is controlled by a photo cell. The Destroyit 3105's blades are high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts that can shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CDs. Its unique feature is the automatic oil injection that insures optimal performance. The Destroyit 3105 is a quiet and powerful shredder. It comes with a single phase motor that is capable of continuous operation to support the sturdy chain drive with dust-proof gear box housing. For mobility, it is mounted on casters. The Destroyit 3105 Strip Cut Shredder is perfect for medium usage.
