Destroyit 4005CC Overview

Destroyit 4005CC Cross Cut Paper Shredder is a HIPAA/FACTA compliant shredder used by departments for medium type shredding. It can shred 30-32 sheets at a speed of 30 fpm. 4005CC includes the "SPS" (Safety Protection System) package which includes an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening, an "Easy Switch" control element that uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status, an automatic reverse and power cut-off to prevent paper jams, an automatic power cut-off when the shred bag is full or when the cabinet door is opened, double protection against overheating, and an "ESM" (Energy Saving Mode) after 1 hour of inactivity. The automatic start and stop feature is controlled by a photo cell.

Destroyit 4005's blades are high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts that are soft metal resistant and can shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CDs. An interesting design is the automatic oil injection that insures optimal performance at all times. The MBM Destroyit 4005CC is a quiet and powerful shredder that comes with a single phase motor rated for continuous operation and durable gears enclosed in dust-proof housing. It is a huge shredder with a large shred compartment with easy-access door located in back of machine, and a pull-out bag frame mechanism mounted on rollers for easy replacement of disposable shred bags. For mobility, it is mounted on heavy duty casters. The Destroyit 4005 Cross Cut Shredder is perfect for medium usage.
